NYC Transit Lost & Found

The NYC transit system keeps a pretty detailed tally of items reported as lost by riders. Unfortunately this XML-formatted data is undocumented: while the counts change, the update frequency is unknown. This example shows how you can use streamtools to turn that into something you can work with: a pollable JSON endpoint.
